BIO


Sid is a proud TCK (Third Culture Kid). Born in London to a French father and American mother, Sid grew up primarily in Brazil. He also lived in Kenya, Uganda, Istanbul, and Paris, before returning to London in 2007 to study acting. He holds British, French and American citizenship, and speaks several languages fluently.

Sid won a New York Film Award for his portrayal of World War I poet Siegfried Sassoon in THE BURYING PARTY.

He can next be seen alongside Austin Butler, Barry Keoghan and Callum Turner in Apple TV’s World War II epic MASTERS OF THE AIR; as Andy Warhol alongside Alex Wolff’s Leonard Cohen in SO LONG, MARIANNE, a miniseries chronicling Cohen’s relationship with Marianne Ilhen; and as the silent lead in DOG RUN, Lorna Nickson-Brown’s award-winning story of survival and companionship.

His further screen work includes the lead in Marcos Mereles’ debut feature ALL IS VANITY, which premiered at the 65th BFI London Film Festival; as well as roles alongside Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant in FLORENCE FOSTER JENKINS; Ben Foster and Jesse Plemons in THE PROGRAM; and Laura Fraser, Alice Lowe and Nicholas Pinnock in DARK ENCOUNTER.

He has worked extensively onstage, appearing in roles as varied as Nick Carraway in THE GREAT GATSBY, Dionysus in THE BACCHAE, and Puck in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM in London’s West End.

During the 2020 lockdown, he founded the online theatre company CtrlAltRepeat. Their original production, VIPER SQUAD, won Best Online Immersive Show at the Off West End Awards in February 2021.

Sid is attached to multiple projects in various stages of development, as well as continuing to create and develop his own work.
